Haenertsburg Village, a charming cluster of essential shops and restaurants only 5km from Bifrost offers interesting diversions. Along the R71 there are plant nurseries, pubs, tea gardens and the Debegeni Falls to amuse and intrigue visitors.
 
September is the month for the Spring Fair and Orchid Show. Visiting Cheerio Gardens for the cherry blossoms, azaleas and camellias is a wonderful experience. Nearby along the Cheerio road is the Wegraakbosch Organic cheese factory where cheese tasting and a glass of wine create a happy moment.
 
The Ebenezer Mile for swimmers and the many mountain bike races attract hundreds of sporting enthusiasts annually.
